FX reference markets and onchain settlement operate on different clocks. That creates a real dependency on stale-price handling, mark-price quality, and fallback behavior.

Stablecoin Risk

Collateral is based on allowlisted assets. In the current closed beta, USDC is the only allowlisted collateral asset, which means stablecoin issuer and depeg risk still matter at the margin layer.

Access-Model Risk

The current closed beta trading stack includes custodial broadcast flows for registered testers. That creates operational risk distinct from the core smart-contract design.
